Tendly helps independent businesses manage appointments. This policy explains what information is used when a business owner or customer uses Tendly. Each business also manages the customer information it receives through its own booking page.
Information we collect
For owners, we receive sign-in information from Google or Apple and business details you provide, such as your studio name, schedule, services, location, branding, and alert number. For customers, booking details may include your name, email, phone number, selected service, appointment time, staff member, and any notes you enter. We also keep payment status and transaction references, not card numbers.
How we use it
We use this information to create and manage appointments, prevent double bookings, process deposits and subscriptions, send confirmations and reminders, provide owner alerts, show booking history to the business, maintain account security, and support the service. A customer’s private booking link allows them to view, reschedule, or cancel that appointment; please keep it private.
Who receives it
The business you book with receives the details needed to provide your appointment. Trusted providers help us run Tendly: Lovable Cloud hosts the service, Paystack processes payments, Resend delivers email, and WhatsApp may deliver owner alerts. Google or Apple handles owner sign-in. Providers only receive the information needed for their role, under their own privacy terms. We do not sell booking information.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain booking and payment records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal requirements. Access to business records is restricted to the business owner; private booking links protect customer self-service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Customers can use their booking link to update or cancel an appointment where permitted, or contact the business directly about their records. Owners can update business details in settings. For privacy questions about Tendly, reach its founder through LinkedIn. We may need to verify your request and retain records required by law.

We may update this policy as Tendly changes. The date above shows when this page was last revised. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
